Google, with the help of GPS technology, has added a page to allow tracking of the fires in Southern California and San Diego. Evacuation centers are listed, as are road closures and addresses of homes burned as well as containment percentages. This situation is truly tragic - our thoughts and prayers are definitely with those affected and their families.
It is great that newer technology such as this is being used for a humanitarian purpose, giving those affected vital information on the situation and its containment.
